A good go-to raiding build

I have been playing Havoc DH since the start of Tomb of Sargeras and over time I have picked up on somethings from watching and following some world class players. It has helped me gain a competitive edge and now I want to share these things with you! This is my personal go-to set up as far as talents are concerned when it comes to raiding this tier. Through looking at warcraft logs to see what talents other top DH are running and through my own experience this is what I have compiled together. As the tier goes on I plan to do a breakdown of each boss and the talent choices that will help best combat the boss, and why.

If you guys have any questions, comments or concerns I will do my best to answer and address them!

Blind Fury
Eye Beam generates 40 Fury every second and its duration is increased by 50%.
This is a great talent for a few reasons. The longer eye beam also allows you to get fury capped. To really maximize this you want to make sure you aren't over capping too much so beaming at 60-70 fury is probably not the best idea, get a chaos strike or 2 in there first then beam to fill your fury bar back up! To add a little more to this, running with at least 1 Furious Gaze trait you will be able to squeeze out a little more beam damage since the cast is longer!
Immolation Aura
Engulf yourself in flames, instantly causing 418 Fire damage to enemies within 8 yards and radiating 156 Fire damage every second. Lasts 10 seconds.
This has been the go to for me for a little while now other then the times I experiment with the momentum build .(I will add that one later) This talent is a bit of a dual threat here because not only is it going to add a little bit of damage but it also generates 80 fury over a 10 second time frame which is awesome!
Trail of Ruin
The final slash of Blade Dance inflicts an additional 1,656 Chaos damage over 4 seconds.
I believe this is a pretty standard talent choice in raid over Fel Barrage. It takes roughly 4-6(ish) trails to catch up to the damage a fel barrage would do. Fel Barrage has a 1 min CD so under the assumption you are around 14-16% haste you can fit nearly 8 blade dances in that 1 minute time span making Trail of Ruin more valuable.
Slip into the nether, increasing movement speed by 100% and becoming immune to damage, but unable to attack. Lasts 5 seconds.
This "utility tier" has 2 viable options. Netherwalk is going to be the safe bet for any raider regardless of skill level because even the best raider out there catches themselves in a bad spot sometimes and that is where this comes into play. Allows you to soak certain mechanics that would otherwise kill you or helps save your butt if you are out of position. Soul rending is a close runner up here because in conjunction with Metamorphosis gives you an incredible 40% leech which in times of need or some constant aoe damage could be pretty useful.
First Blood
Reduces the Fury cost of Blade Dance by 20 and increases its damage to 2,397 against the first target struck.
With Blade Dance being a main staple in a Havoc DH rotation this is (in my opinion) the only option for the level 75 tier. Reducing the cost of one of our main spenders and increasing the damage it does to the first target struck makes this great in AoE and single target situations.
Master of the Glaive
Throw Glaive has 2 charges, and snares all enemies hit by 50% for 6 seconds.
This tier is pretty much a total toss up. The reason I roll with Master of the Glaive in raids is because if for example you get targeted with a mechanic that brings you outside of melee range of the boss, this gives you a chance to at least get some damage on the boss while you are running out/back in.
Eye Beam causes you to enter demon form for 8 seconds after it finishes dealing damage.
Last but certainly not least is Demonic. This is our bread and butter, it allows us to get into meta for a short period of time. With that comes some extra leech in times of need, buffs your haste and empowers our main damaging abilities. This talent right now is the go to for the vast majority of Havoc DH out there.
There are no comments for this build.
Nice job, Tanner!
